Raleigh is a great city, which seems to create its own energy. The southern feel, and the Carolina charm add up to make Raleigh a great place to visit, and an even better place to live. Its moderate subtropical climate make for nice weather all year. Although Raleigh is the 2nd largest city in the state, as well as the state capital, its extensive, friendly neighborhoods give it the feeling of a small town. Some of those neighborhoods include:
Olde Creedmoor, Perry Creek, Pinecrest, Quail Hollow, Quail Meadows, Shannon Woods, Smoke Tree, Southall, Steeplechase, Stonebridge, Stonehenge, Stone Creek, Stowecroft, Turnberry, Valley Estates, Wakefield, Westlake, Wildwood Green, Windsor Forest, Wood Valley, Woods of Tiffany, and Wyndfield.
